Description

1853 H10C Arrows MS65 NGC. In 1853, and continuing through 1855, small arrow heads flanked the date on the smaller silver denominations from the half dime to the half dollar, signifying a minor reduction in the weight of silver, intended to halt hoarding activities of the previous few years at a time when silver value was greater than face value. This Gem has a nice strike with satiny silver luster and attractive iridescent splashes.
