1849 $1 -- Artificial Toning -- NGC Details. Unc. OC-2, Die State a/c. Ex: Dick Osburn and the Osburn-Cushing Reference Collections. This fully defined dollar displays satin luster through a rich palette of forest-green and golden-brown patina. Visible marks are absent except for shallow obverse rim dings at 5 o'clock and 7:30. A sharply struck example with slightly reflective fields and swirling die polish lines alongside light hairlines beneath the toning.Auction Info
