1943-S Walker, Exceptional MS67
Almost Fully Struck
1943-S 50C MS67 PCGS. For the past 30 years or so the S-mint
Walkers from the 1940s have been recognized as the true keys to the
Short Set. The 1943-S is one of more difficult issues. This is a
highly lustrous example that shows remarkable definition (for an
S-mint). A split can be seen between the thumb and forefinger, and
just a couple of the skirt lines are incomplete. Population: 30 in
67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (8/13).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24SB, PCGS# 6620, Greysheet# 6756)
