Description:

Prized Panama-Pacific 1915-S
Quarter Eagle, MS66

1915-S $2 1/2 Panama-Pacific Quarter Eagle MS66 NGC. CAC. A highly desirable Premium Gem example from the first of just two classic commemorative quarter eagle issues. Rich yellow-gold luster shows strong orange accents. Softly struck at the upper obverse, as often seen, but with such impressive preservation and overall eye appeal that this fault is rendered trivial in context.

We changed the way we image slabbed coins on February 1, 2010, in order to get a more accurate image of the coin. To get the sharper details and more accurate colors we have focused the lighting on the actual coin, which has caused the top of the holders to appear darker and milky. Please disregard the color of the holders when examining the images.
