Newman 4-E, Sharpness of Very Fine
1787 1C Fugio Cent, Club Rays, Rounded Ends--Corrosion--NGC Details. VF. Newman 4-E, W-6685, R.3. This Club Rays, Rounded Ends obverse has a ray close to but not touching the lower part of the cinquefoil before the 1. The Newman E reverse displays the W in WE apart from the D in UNITED (not distinguishable here) and a thin right side of the N in ONE (plain here). The dark-brown surfaces show moderate corrosion throughout both sides, but there are few distractions otherwise. Listed on page 84 of the 2011 Guide Book. MRB Fine 15.
