Description:
Premium Gem 1905-O Barber Quarter
Great Color, Flashy Luster
1905-O 25C MS66 PCGS. CAC. With a mintage of 1.23 million pieces, it is easy to see how this O-mint quarter issue from late in the facility's history could become a condition rarity above the Gem level. This Premium Gem has considerable flashy luster through a light layer of patina, primarily lavender-blue and gold-green on the obverse with added peach and umber elements at the upper border on the reverse. Slight generalized peripheral striking softness, most obvious on the eagle's claws, is as usually seen. PCGS has graded only one example numerically finer than MS66 (11/11).(Registry values: N4719) (NGC ID# 23Z3, PCGS# 5640)
