Description:
Bold VF30 1793 Wreath Cent
S-11c, Lettered Edge
1793 1C Wreath Cent, Lettered Edge VF30 NGC. S-11c, B-16c, Low R.3. Noyes Die State B/A with prominent clash marks near the profile. The NGC holder allows inspection of the edge, including the sole leaf after DOLLAR. A pleasing golden-brown representative of the single-year, first-year Wreath type. The right side of the hair displays wear commensurate with the grade but traces of luster emerge from design recesses. Small mint-made planchet flaws are noted on the forehead, the final A in AMERICA, and the reverse border at 6:30. Verdigris is absent, and abrasions are incidental except for a single slender mark on the cheek. Our EAC grade Fine 12.(Registry values: P4) (NGC ID# 223J, PCGS# 1350)
