Description
Famous 1915-S Panama-Pacific
Fifty Dollar Round, Unc Details
1915-S $50 Panama-Pacific 50 Dollar Round--Improperly
Cleaned--NGC. Unc Details. Warm yellow-orange surfaces have
pleasing luster despite the after-effects of a past cleaning. A few
small digs and other abrasions are noted in the fields, but the
overall eye appeal is considerable. Though not assigned a numeric
grade by NGC, that service does note that the coin shows no trace
of wear. All things considered, a desirable representative of this
famous classic gold commemorative issue, one that enjoys remarkable
popularity and demand that far exceeds the number of known
survivors, which come from a net mintage of only 483 pieces. From The Cliff Street Collection.(Registry values: N7079)
