Proof gold Ducaton (Rider) 1728 Holland, Cuirassed knight on horseback galloping to right with provincial arms below/Crowned arms of the combined Dutch States, supported by two lions, KM71a, Scholten 31 (RRR), Proof 63 NGC. A spectacular 10 Ducat sized gold piece with superb definition, golden-orange color, and nicely mirrored fields. Extremely rare, and the first VOC gold Ducaton that we have seen.Metal: Gold
