1880-S Morgan Dollar, MS68
Only Four Higher-Graded at NGC
1880-S $1 MS68 NGC. Although the 1880-S Morgan dollar is an
available date in high grade, few examples are as attractive as
this spectacular MS68 specimen. Arresting shades of gold, green,
and violet toning are the outstanding visual features of the
obverse surfaces, while the reverse remains mostly brilliant. All
devices are fully detailed, and mint luster is vibrant on both
sides. Only four coins have been certified in higher numeric grades
at NGC (2/11).(Registry values: P1, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2544, PCGS# 7118, Greysheet# 7476)
