1879-CC $1 MS64 Prooflike PCGS. Of the 756,000-piece mintage, probably hundreds of thousands of the 1879-CC Morgan dollar were melted under the Pittman Act. This Prooflike Near-Gem survivor offers pleasing field-motif variance. Both sides are untoned and exhibit a sharp strike. Light grazes keep from MS65. Population: 59 in 64 Prooflike, 7 finer (8/09).(Registry values: P7, N2998)
