Condition Census 1913 Cent, MS67 Red PCGS

1913 1C MS67 Red PCGS. While the 1913 Philadelphia issue is available in all Mint State grades, full red Gems are in more limited supply, and when found, are seldom fully struck. The present Superb Gem reveals an even golden-orange color over flashy luster. Its design features are boldly impressed, portraying excellent detail in Lincoln's hair, beard, and bow tie, and in the wheat stalks. Impeccably preserved surfaces are virtually devoid of any abrasions or carbon spots. A couple of almost invisible toning spots are noted in the reverse fields. Population: 4 in 67, none finer (8/05). NGC has yet to grade any this high.(#2461) (Registry values: N1793)
