Description

1936 50C Elgin MS67NGC. CAC. A dusting of russet covers the silver-gray centers, which are surrounded by deep gold and violet toning. The obverse is especially eye-catching, but both sides exhibit remarkable satiny luster. This issue is notorious for a weak strike, but while the people on the reverse have softly struck heads, the obverse has above-average definition. A minimally marked and appealing example.
