1861 $1 MS63 PCGS. Boldly struck, with pronounced doubling noted on the right border of Liberty's shield. The ivory-beige surfaces are satiny and highly lustrous, with a few trivial abrasions and shallow luster grazes on each side. This date saw a lower mintage of 77,500 pieces, and Mint State survivors are very scarce. Population: 20 in 63, 26 finer (5/08). (Registry values: N2998)
