PCGS. The popular Period One type with the eagle, shield, and
ribbon reverse, a design based upon the Humbert fifty dollar
'slugs' that dominated West Coast commerce in 1854. Splashes of
orange and lime-green ensure the eye appeal of this well defined
and generally lustrous example. Housed in an old green label
