Description

Double Denomination, Date, and Mint 1999 Lincoln Cent

1999 1C Lincoln Cent--Struck on 1980-D Roosevelt Dime--MS66 NGC. A remarkable double denomination piece with 20 years between strikes! Not only is this a double-denomination, double-date piece, but it is also a dual Mint coin. The first strike occurred in Denver in 1980 and the second in Philadelphia in 1999! One might wonder how that could happen, but happen it did, and now we have an impressive and highly sought-after error. It is also a gorgeous example with fully brilliant and highly lustrous nickel-gray surfaces.
