Description
Remarkable 1926 Sesquicentennial
Quarter Eagle, MS66
1926 $2 1/2 Sesquicentennial MS66 PCGS. While uninspiring
examples of the Sesquicentennial quarter eagle are legion,
particularly in grades through MS64, coins with the eye appeal of
this Premium Gem are far more elusive. Peach-accented gold-orange
surfaces have strong frosty-satiny luster and are exquisitely
preserved. Tied for the finest certified by PCGS (10/09).From The Steven Forcier Collection of U.S. Classic Commemoratives.(Registry values: N4719)
