Description
Pleasing 1854 Type Two Gold Dollar, MS63
1854 G$1 Type Two MS63 PCGS. Both sides of this Select gold dollar are richly toned in variegated apricot-gold and violet patination and display pleasing luster. A well directed strike imparts sharp definition to the design features, with just the usual minor softness in the hair and on the 8. A few light handling marks limit the grade, yet this piece possesses nice overall eye appeal. This is a great coin for a high grade type set.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25C3, PCGS# 7531, GSID# 8015)
