Description
Fantastic MS66 Red 1913-D Cent
1913-D 1C MS66 Red PCGS. The surfaces of this 1913-D cent are generally fresh copper-orange with occasional elements of peach and umber at the margins, as well as a few scattered carbon flecks. The strike shows trifling softness at Lincoln's shoulder, as usual, but is well-defined otherwise. Though the 1913-D is considered a generally available issue in most grades, at the Superb Gem level, it becomes a notable condition rarity with the Red designation. NGC has graded just three such pieces and PCGS 11, with neither service acknowledging a numerically finer Red survivor (10/08).From The Jack Lee Estate Lincoln Cent Registry Set.(Registry values: N2998)
