Description

1886 $1 PR65 NGC. There is plenty of attractive mint frost on the devices, but the mirrored fields are a bit too shallow for a Cameo designation. Nonetheless, the contrast is sufficient to add to the broad appeal of this nice Gem. The surfaces are largely untoned, with just a hint of ice-blue near the obverse rim at 12 o'clock and a reverse ring of gold. A well-struck and pretty piece!
