Description
1787 1C Fugio Cent, UNITED STATES, Cinquefoils VF30 ANACS. Newman 21-I, R.5. Nice, two-toned surfaces, the devices being a lighter brown, and the fields being a darker chocolate color. The contrast between the devices and fields makes the detail appear even more prominent and appealing to the eye. There are a couple of natural planchet striations on the obverse, and some clash marks on the reverse as a result of the later die state. A very attractive example of this scarce variety.
