1884 25C PR67 ★ Cameo NGC. The present Superb Gem is the sole proof 1884 quarter to secure a Star designation from NGC, as of (8/08). Undoubtedly, the dramatic navy-blue, cherry-red, and orange-gold toning inspired the NGC Star. The patina is especially eye-catching on the reverse.
