Splendid 1898 Quarter Eagle, PR64 Ultra Cameo
1898 $2 1/2 PR64 Ultra Cameo NGC. There are approximately 80 to 100 surviving proof examples from the original mintage of 165 coins. This example is an amazing, glittering Choice proof with incredible contrast. The devices are bright yellow with a heavy coat of mint frost, while the fields are deeply mirrored.
