1872 $3 MS62 PCGS. An amazing example and quite a scarce date, seldom encountered finer. This 1872 three dollar piece has fully mirrored fields with deep orange-gold surfaces. The devices are highly lustrous and the overall appearance resembles that of a Cameo proof, although it is clearly a business strike.
