Washington Quarter Struck on a Cent Planchet MS64
19??-D 25C Washington Quarter--Struck on Copper Cent Planchet--MS64 PCGS. A dramatic Denver Mint off planchet striking that retains at least a portion of the legends. Just a ghost of the date is visible, but the mintmark location (beneath the eagle) confirms a pre-1968 issue. Attractively toned in orange and blue shades.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2448, PCGS# 5791, Greysheet# 5646)
