Late State 1837 N-10 Head of '38 Cent

1837 1C Head of 1838. N-10, R.1. AU58 NGC. AU55 EAC. A late die state with extensive flowlines in the obverse and reverse fields, as well as weakened dentils and considerable obverse rim crumbling. The obverse is golden and olive-brown with olive and steel-brown color on the reverse. A thin scratch is barely visible between stars 11 and 12.
