Lovely Choice 1909 Half Eagle
1909 $5 MS64 NGC. Most survivors of this Indian half eagle issue are in lesser Mint State grades, which makes this near-Gem unusual and desirable. Both sides offer vibrant luster in the green-accented yellow-orange fields. Solidly struck and pleasingly preserved. NGC has graded 54 finer examples (9/08).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DH, PCGS# 8513, Greysheet# 9309)
