Bashlow Restrike Impressions Set in a Block of Copper
1861 1C Confederate States of America Obverse and Reverse Restrikes. Restruck by Robert Bashlow. Bronze. Breen-8013. Obverse and reverse die impressions are set in a large bronze or copper block. Produced by August C. Frank, a Philadelphia medallist, whose imprint, name, and location are located on the back of the block.
