Commonwealth Crown 1653. S-3214. Sun mintmark. Choice VF, wonderful color (rich gray and blue), nice clear devices and legends and, best of all, no real marks or any scratches, which are the constant problem when looking for these big coins. The right side (seen from the reverse) is slightly lacking in flan on the edge, so there is no outer ring of denticles at that point and the coin isn't fully round, but this is still a delightful example of this classic crown.More information about Great Britain Coins.
