Sharp 1839-O Half Dollar, Unc Details

1839-O 50C --Polished--NCS. Unc Details. JR-3. A crack extends from the rim at 7 o'clock t through the bust and vertically up the neck to the curl left of the ear, then runs along the left side of the B in LIBERTY and the cap to the rim. A reverse crack goes from the lower part of the right (left facing) wing to the I of UNITED, then along the bottom of TED ST where it dives into the field below the A. The bright surfaces reveal wispy hairlines from a light polishing, and are retoning champagne-gray with bluish accents. Overall, a sharp looking coin, despite the impairment.
