Double Struck 1795 Draped Bust Dollar
VF Details, B-15, BB-52
1795 $1 Draped Bust, Centered, B-15, BB-52, R.2--Double Struck,
Cleaned--ANACS. VF Details, Net Fine 15. The coin was struck
twice by the dies, rotating slightly between blows. Doubling is
present on the profile and peripheral legends. Glossy, and a bit
bright despite subsequent tan toning that is deepest near the
rims.Ex: Dr. Douglas Roane Collection (Heritage, 9/2003), lot 7459.(Registry values: N1793)
