1857 1C MS61 ANACS. Snow-10, FS-002.7. The date is nicely repunched, and for good measure, the obverse die is lightly doubled. Peach and ruby central tints are framed by light green-gold toning. Boldly struck and satiny. The plate coin for Snow-10 (and, inadvertently, Snow-15) in his 1992 reference Flying Eagle & Indian Cents.From The Madison Collection.(Registry values: N491)
