Superlative 1943 Steel Cent, MS68

1943 1C MS68 PCGS. Fully struck and highly lustrous, with lovely ice-blue coloration and bright, virtually pristine surfaces. A near-perfect example of this short-lived type, struck during a critical copper shortage at the height of World War Two, and composed of steel coated with zinc. Population: 48 in 68, 0 finer (9/08).
