Choice XF 1825 Two and a Half, BD-2
1825 $2 1/2 XF45 NGC. Breen-6128, BD-2, High R.4. Light green-gold with luminous surfaces and minor marks consistent with the grade. The obverse exhibits only moderate wear, but the die was cut shallow, resulting in a worn appearance even with only the slightest actual use or handling. All quarter eagles of this type are rare, and the 1825 is no exception.(Registry values: P5)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25FG, PCGS# 7664, GSID# 8221)
