Description
1795 1/2P Washington Grate Halfpenny, Large Buttons, Reeded Edge XF40 NGC. Reeded Edge, Baker-29A, W-10955, R.1. Although the NGC holder identifies this piece as Lettered Edge, it is actually the more common Reeded Edge variety. Attractive medium-brown patina covers both sides. A number of minor abrasions define the grade. The left side of the fireplace and most of WASHINGTON are weakly struck, but the rest of the details are clear.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2B7M, PCGS# 746, GSID# 289)
