Description

Pleasing 1926-S Double Eagle, MS61

1926-S $20 MS61 NGC. The surfaces are pleasingly unabraded for the grade. Well struck except for the upper half of the Capitol building, which shows slight softness. The upper obverse legends have wispy die cracks, as made. Overall, a lovely example of this last readily collectible S-mint double eagle issue.(Registry values: N1793)
