1839-O $2 1/2 --Scratched, Rim Filed--ANACS. AU Details, Net XF40. Low Date, Close Fraction, Breen-6153, McCloskey-B, R.4. A bold and partly lustrous representative. The obverse rim is lightly filed, and a cluster of delicate pinscratches is seen on the obverse near 12 o'clock. The reverse exhibits numerous spindly die cracks, as made. Struck with medal turn.(Registry values: P3)
