Rare Very Fine 1804 Quarter
1804 25C VF20 NGC. B-1, R.4. Tawny-gold and powder-blue patina visit this glossy and evenly circulated key date quarter. A few minor marks on the right obverse field require no further discussion. 1804 was the first date of the Heraldic Eagle for quarters, although it had been introduced earlier on the half dime, dime, half dollar, and dollar.(Registry values: P7)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23RB, PCGS# 5312, Greysheet# 5057)
