Sharp 1804 Plain 4, No Stems Half Cent
C-13, B-10, MS64 Red and Brown
1804 1/2 C Plain 4, No Stems MS64 Red and Brown NGC. C-13,
B-10, R.1. This variety is characterized by a raised die line from
the wreath through the E in UNITED. Crisply struck on the major
devices, the obverse dentils are softly defined, characteristic of
the later die state for the variety. Ample original salmon-pink
color frequents the borders, while the devices have toned in medium
brown hues. Well preserved, a single tiny spot is noted in the
