Rare XF 1903-S Micro S Dollar
1903-S $1 Micro S XF40 PCGS. Ex: Leroy Van Allen. VAM-2, Micro S. A Top 100 Variety. The mintmark, unique to one reverse die of 1903, appears to have been intended for Barber quarters rather than Morgan dollars. This still-lustrous piece has light wear consistent with the grade, but no mentionable impairments.From The Leroy Van Allen Collection.
