1883 5C Liberty Head Five Cents, Judd-1710, Pollock-1914, R.5, PR67 NGC. This Liberty nickel pattern has stars along the reverse border, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is across the obverse margin. The prominent V is replaced by the central legend 50 N/50 C, referring to a proposed copper-nickel alloy. The T in CENTS is repunched north. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. A well struck, brilliant, and flashy Superb Gem. Among the finest known. Census: 2 in 67, 0 finer (8/07).
