Delightful 1854 Type Two Gold Dollar, MS61
1854 G$1 Type Two MS61 NGC. CAC. Despite a mintage of 783,943 pieces, the 1854 is usually seen circulated, and examples are relatively elusive in Mint State. Dusky yellow patina embraces the lustrous surfaces. There are extremely pronounced clash marks on both sides, and several of the reverse letters are visible on the obverse.
