Description

Attractive 1916-S Indian Head Five, MS62

1916-S $5 MS62 PCGS. This example is highly lustrous, and the khaki-gold and pale rose toning is quite appealing. Bela Lyon Pratt's incuse design elements are remarkably well rendered, and the eagle's head, feathers, and talons are particularly sharp. There are a handful of tiny marks on the obverse, and a few more than that on the reverse that prevent a higher grade. (Registry values: N1793)
