Popular 1869 Standard Silver Dime Pattern
Judd-708, PR64
1869 10C Standard Silver Ten Cents, Judd-708, Pollock-787, R.5,
PR64 NGC. On the obverse Liberty faces right, wearing a
headband that is adorned with a single large star in the forehead
area. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA borders the upper periphery, with IN
GOD WE TRUST in a curved ribbon below. Reverse: STANDARD SILVER
around upper edge with 10 / CENTS in an oak and laurel wreath.
Struck in silver with a plain edge. This is a relatively common
Standard Silver issue. Pronounced die striations are seen in the
fields on each side, which impart bright reflectivity. Light toning
is seen on each side also, primarily rose colored in the centers
