Near-Mint 1652 Pine Tree Shilling
1652 SHILNG Pine Tree Shilling, Large Planchet AU58 NGC.
CAC. Crosby 2a-A1, Noe-11, R.4. All N's retrograde, No H in
MASATVSETS. 69.8 gn. A high grade example that has noticeable mint
luster and original, slightly wavy surfaces. Toned forest-green and
lilac-gray. A few trivial marks near the denomination, but
exemplary overall, with the obverse nearly devoid of contact. The
tree is well brought up, and all peripheral letters are complete
aside from peak of the M in MASATVSETS. Listed on page 37 of the
2009 Guide Book. As of (11/08), the single finest of three
examples certified by NGC as the No H variety.See: Video Lot Description
