Choice AU Cohen-4 1793 Half Cent
1793 1/2 C AU55 NGC. CAC. C-4, B-4, Low R.3. Manley Die State 2.0. This impressively defined Choice AU example displays shimmering luster across the devices and legends. Toned deep golden-brown with additional ice-blue tints on the reverse. Minor incompleteness of strike is seen on the right-side borders, most noticeable on the AM in AMERICA. Surprisingly smooth overall aside from an inconspicuous mark above the 7 in the date. A brief lintmark near the final A in AMERICA is strictly of mint origin.
