Description
Desirable Select Mint State No D
Strong Reverse 1922 Cent
1922 No D 1C Strong Reverse MS63 Brown NGC. CAC. FS-401,
formerly FS-013.2. Die Pair 2. A remarkable example of this
conditionally rare key date variety. The Strong Reverse No D cent
is always available for a price in Fine through XF, but Select
Uncirculated pieces are seldom encountered. Evenly toned
chocolate-brown, and fully defined where obverse die wear permits.
Both sides shimmer with satin luster, and prolonged evaluation
beneath a glass fails to locate any visible abrasions. A beautiful
and important example certain to see animated floor bidding.
