Description
Fiery MS66 Red 1928-D Cent
1928-D 1C MS66 Red PCGS. A magnificent fire-red Premium Gem that boasts vibrant luster and exceptional preservation. Abrasions are essentially absent, and flyspecks are equally elusive. The strike is intricate, even on the usual trouble spots, Lincoln's shoulder and the O in ONE. Branch mint cents from the 1920s are notoriously difficult to locate in quality Mint State, but the present piece will satisfy even the most demanding collector. Sheltered in a green label holder, and struck from lightly rotated dies. Population: 11 in 66 Red, 0 finer (11/08).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22CS, PCGS# 2590, GSID# 1909)
