Description
Richly Toned 1897 Barber Half, MS65
1897 50C MS65 PCGS. The mint luster shines brightly through the multiple layers of toning on each side. Both obverse and reverse show varying amounts of emerald-green and rose toning. The only mark of any note is actually Mint-made, a small planchet flaw near the point of the truncation of the neck on the obverse. The strike is strong, but not quite complete on this appealing type coin. Population: 15 in 65, 12 finer (12/10).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24LY, PCGS# 6477, Greysheet# 6558)
