Description
1955 Lincoln Cent--Struck on Venezuela 25c Planchet--MS60 ANACS. This is an interesting mint error which features a Lincoln cent struck on a Venezuela 25 centavos planchet. The peripheral elements of the Lincoln cent design are off of the planchet, and only the E in ONE and half of the E in CENT are present on the reverse. ST and AMER are very weak, and only parts of E and UM can be discerned along the upper periphery. A grazing mark near the right obverse border resembles the number 4. Lustrous and lightly toned; an attractive Uncirculated error coin. From The Dale A. Konigsburg Collection, Part Two.
